Job Description:

  • Will be part of our helpful and solutions-oriented 1st Level Support Team and support our customers’ Managed Services;

  • Receive pre-qualified incidents and tickets from the Service Desk and start further analysis and troubleshooting;

  • Solve incidents by establishing permanent solutions or temporary workarounds in a customer-oriented approach;

  • Work within established ITIL processes in cooperation with other technical departments to find the root cause of incidents;

  • Liaise and communicate with global customers and partners;

  • Work in a rotating 24/7 shift roster and collaborate closely with our teams in Germany,

  • Australia and other colleagues in the nicos Group of Companies;

  • May be given training responsibilities;

  • May be given ad hoc projects and tasks;

  • Comply with company policies and procedures including data privacy;

  • Provide excellent customer service with the client’s utmost satisfaction in mind.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree focusing on Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent;

  • Relevant experience in the area of CISCO-based networks and/or in IT-Security is desired;

  • At least B2 Level German language proficiency;

  • Native speaker Level English language proficiency;

  • Knowledge in Microsoft 360;

  • Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);

  • Knowledge in Linux multi-user operating system is an advantage;

  • Undergrads that meet the basic requirements or with relevant work experience will be considered.
